I have a busy couple of weeks coming up with shows and rehearsals.  a don piper situation is playing the one and only show of the year in December!  Other shows coming up are:  Good Luck Mountain (formerly Tandy), Mary McBride, Son of George (led by singer/songwriter Dave Doobinin) and Luke Reynolds (Blue Merle, Pictures and Sound).  The Spottiswoode and His Enemies record is finally printed and I'm hoping it'll be out in the world soon.  Other records from Good Luck Mountain, Seb Leon, Caithlin De Marrais, Doria Roberts, Rossif Sutherland and The Silos are in various stages of completion as well.
 
Also coming up in December and January will be shows with David Roland.  I was in Bolivia with him making a record and it'll be coming out in the spring.  We'll have shows in NYC and Atlanta this winter and SXSW in the spring.  

A wonderful artist, Jonathan Spottiswoode, has been chosen to participate in the New York Musical Theater Festival this October.  I have had the good fortune to play with Spottiswoode and His Enemies in the past and his music is top notch.  I also participated in the staged reading of the play selected for the festival, Above Hell's Kitchen, at Joe's Pub in New York City.  This is an enormous opportunity for him and his play was chosen out of hundreds of submissions.  He is raising money for this production through kickstarter.  Please consider making a contribution:  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1444644805/above-hells-kitchen
